Mrs. Ethel Smoroske, age 35, of Lydick, this county, died at 10:22 o'clock Sunday morning. She was a lifelong resident of Lydick, having been born there Aug. 27, 1895. Surviving are her husband, to whom she was married in 1912; her mother, Mrs. Rhoda Myers, of Lydick; eight children, George, Claude, Charles, Cecil, James, Floyd, Lloyd and Alice, all at home and a brother, Claude Myers of Chicago. The body may be viewed in the residence of her mother Tuesday and until 1:30 o'clock Wednesday afternoon when it will be taken to the Bethel Evangelical church, Lydick, where it will be in state from that hour until 2:30 o'clock when the funeral service will be conducted. The Rev. Elmer Smith, pastor, will officiate and burial will be in Mount Pleasant cemetery. She was a member of W. O. W. circle. South Bend Tribune, January 28, 1929, Page 6:
