SOUTH BEND - Witold Przybysz, 86, passed away on Thursday November 19, 2009 at 3:10 p.m. in his home. Witold was born January 5, 1923, in South Bend to the late Witold and Helen (Zientkowska) Przybysz. He was also preceded in death by his sisters, Helen Przybysz, Frida Przybysz and Evelyn Gapinski; and by his brother, Alex Przybysz. On April 11, 1948, he married Wanita (Warner) in Elkhart, she survives along with their two sons, Claude (Cindy) Przybysz of London, OH, and Chris (Amy) Przybysz of South Bend; grandchildren, Jennifer (Drew) Barker, Melissa (Jon) Vawter, Nicole Przybysz and Kimberly Przybysz; and four great-grandchildren. Witold worked at Gates as a Metal Finisher for over 20 years. He was a parishioner of St. Adalbert Catholic Church. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Sunday November 22, 2009 ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Road, South Bend, where a Rosary will be prayed at 3:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1 p.m. on Monday, November 23, 2009 in St. Adalbert Catholic Church. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Center for Hospice and Palliative Care, 111 Sunnybrook Court, South Bend, IN 46637. For those who are unable to attend the Funeral Liturgy, condolences for the family may be made at www.sjfh.net.
