MISHAWAKA, IN - Esther W. Magrames, 92, passed away on Friday, January 25, 2019 at the Waterford at Edison Lakes in Mishawaka. Esther was born on March 18, 1926 in Mishawaka to William L. and Helen (Lambropoulos) Magrames. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Mary Verongos; and brother, Louis Magrames. Surviving are her nieces and nephew, Sophia (Peter) Anderson of Mishawaka, George (Zoe) Verongos of Seattle, WA, Helen (Craig Winston) Verongos of Montclair, NJ, and Dina Weston of Overland Park, KS; great-niece and nephews, Andrew Weston, Alex Weston, Anastasia Weston, Clare Weston, Zane Weston, and Davyn Weston; and sister, Yeoryia Magrames, along with many other cousins. Esther worked for 39 years as a Secretary at Bendix. She was a member of St. Andrew Greek Orthodox Church in South Bend, the Good Samaritan Club, and Daughters of Penelope.
Funeral Services will be at 11 a.m., with visitation one hour prior, on Tuesday, January 29 at St. Andrew Greek Orthodox Church, South Bend. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Mishawaka. Hahn Funeral Home, Mishawaka has been entrusted with the final arrangements.
