Genevieve T. Strozewski, 87, died on Saturday, May 3, in the Fountainview Nursing Home, Mishawaka, Ind. Genevieve was born April 22, 1916, in Manister [sic. Manistee], Mich., to John and Rose (Jagniecki) Szuba, who preceded her in death. On Nov. 21, 1940, Genevieve married Frank Strozewski, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Roman Szuba and Edward Szuba. . She is survived by two daughters, Julie (George) Pooler of Marietta, Ohio, and Patricia Strozewski of South Bend, Ind.; two sons, James (Joan) Strozewski of South Bend and Richard (Rita) Strozewski of Plymouth, Ind.; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; a sister, Evelyn Whitaker of Tacoma, Wash.; and by a brother, Floyd Szuba of South Bend. . Genevieve was a member of St. Casimir Catholic Church and the Senior Citizens of St. Casimir, as well as the Rosary Adoration Society of St. Casimir.
. Visitation will be held from 2 to 8 p.m. on Monday, May 5, in the ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Road, with a Rosary at 4 p.m. Services will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, May 6, in St. Casimir Catholic Church, with entombment at St. Joseph Cemetery.
