The cemetery lot card, as microfilmed circa 1988, states that C. Kazmierczak, male, 55, was interred in this lot in August of 1955. There is no grave marker. The Saint Joseph County Public Library's online obituary index indicates that Casimir Kazmierczak's obituary was published Aug. 8, 1955 in the South Bend Tribune. The 1900-1920 censuses indicate that his father was Andrew, born 1870 in Michigan, his mother was Josephine, born 1872 in Poland, and he had six or more siblings. Casimir's father, Andrew, died in 1920 and is the only other person that the lot card shows is buried in this same lot (photo).
