NEW CARLISLE - Mary A. Rozwarski, 84, of New Carlisle, Indiana, passed away Monday, June 1, 2009, in Miller's Merry Manor, Walkerton, Indiana. Mary was born August 26, 1924, in LaPorte, Indiana, to Ralph and Ann (Sudrovech) Tuszynski. She was a homemaker and had retired after many years of service from Easy Heat in New Carlisle, Indiana. Mary was married on October 11, 1947, to Ernest C. Rozwarski. He preceded her in death on July 1, 1998. Brothers, Leo, Joey and Rayfeal Tuszynski, all preceded her in death. Mary was a member of St. Stanislaus Kostka Catholic Church, PNA #83 and the V.FW. Rolling Prairie woman's auxiliary. Visitation will be held Thursday, June 4, from 2-8 p.m. in the Kaniewski Funeral Home, 3545 N. Bendix Drive, South Bend, where a parish Rosary will be prayed at 3 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, June 5, at 10 a.m. in St. Stanislaus Kostka Catholic Church, New Carlisle. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, South Bend. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Services of Northern Indiana, Inc., 922 E Colfax Ave., South Bend, IN 46617.
