Verna S. Zrobek - nee Satko
SOUTH BEND - Verna S. Zrobek, 87, of Kosciuszko Street, died at 12:23 p.m. Tuesday in St. Joseph's Medical Center. Mrs. Zrobek retired from the Sherland Building. She was born Jan. 17, 1909, in South Bend. In South Bend, as Verna Satko, she married John Zrobek. He died in 1983. She is survived by three sons, John, Michael, and Daniel, all of South Bend; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. She was a member of Senior Citizens of St. Casimir's Catholic Church and Polish Women's Alliance Group 305.Services will be at 9 a.m. Friday in the church. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday in St. Joseph Funeral Home, where a rosary will be said at 4:30 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to American Heart Association.
