Wasowski, 90, passed away on November 5, 2008 at 10:50 p.m. in Regency Place, South
Bend. Loretta was born on October 15, 1918 in south Bend to the late Wladyslaw
and Kathryn (Zakrzewski) Cwiklinski. On September 14, 1946, in South Bend she
married Alex J. Wasowski in St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, and he preceded her
in death on February 1, 2006. Also preceding her in death was a grandson, Ryan
Wittner on September 10, 2008 and a sister, Genevieve Cwiklinski. She is
survived by two daughter, Peggy (Dennis) Jarusewic of Granger and Joan
(Gregory) Wittner of Mishawaka; two sons, Larry (Maryellen) Wasowski of
Charlotte, NC and Jerry (Tami) Wasowski of Crown Point, IN; grandchildren,
Bridget Wasowski of Charlotte, NC, Bryan, Missy and Erin Jarusewic of Granger,
Lindsay and Karly Wasowski of Crown Point, IN; granddaugher-in-law, Brandy Wittner
of Mishawaka; great-granddaughter, Lilly Wittner; sisters, Helen Veclotch of
Newport Richey, FL, Alfred Baranowski of Granger, Dorothy Cwiklinski of
Mishawaka, and Zita Wojcik of Des Plaines, IL. A special
"Thank You" to the staff at Regency Place and Southern Care Hospice
for their care and compassion. There is no visitation and a memorial
service will be held at a later date. ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower
road, is assisting the family. Memorial contributions
may be made to the Southern Care Hospice, 310 W. McKinley Suite 340, Mishawaka,

M. Cwiklinski, 80, of St Paul’s Retirement Community, died Wednesday in Saint
Joseph Regional Medical Center. Survivors include five sisters, Helen Veclotch
of Lake Worth FL, Loretta Wasowski, Alfreda Baranowski
and Dorothy Cwiklinski, all of Mishawaka, and Zita Wojcik of Des Plaines
IL. Private graveside services will be
held in St Joseph Cemetery at a later date.
There will be no visitation.
