Rudolph O. Baloun

Rudy Baloun, 79, of South Bend, IN, passed away on August 23, 2006 in his home.

He was born on November 6, 1926 to the late Otto and Justine (Prikosovich) Baloun in South Bend, IN, and was a lifelong resident. On September 30, 1950, he married Dorothy L. Wcisel at St. Hedwig Catholic Church in South Bend, IN. Dorothy died on July 28, 2004. He is survived by his son, David (wife, Laura) Baloun of Canton, OH; two grandchildren, Lindsay Baloun of Chicago, IL; Drew Baloun of Canton, OH; two brothers, William (wife, Lillian) Baloun of South Bend, IN; and Norman (wife, Connie) Baloun of South Bend, IN. He was an Army Veteran of World War II and an avid Notre Dame fan. Memorial Contributions may be made to: The Center for Hospice and Palliative Care, Inc., 111 Sunnybrook Court, South Bend, IN 46637.
